Antiseptic Dorogov's Stimulator (Russian: АСД, антисептик-стимулятор Дорогова, ASD) is an antiseptic drug invented by Russian scientist A. V. Dorogov in the 1940s in the former USSR.
History[edit | edit source]
ASD was originally developed by Russian researcher A. V. Dorogov in the 1940s for military use and was kept secret for many years. Initially, it was used exclusively by the army and special services. It was not until the 1990s that the drug became more widely known and began production in a biochemical factory located in Armavir. Since then, it has been registered in Russia as a drug approved for animal use, primarily recommended for the treatment of skin diseases in pigs and cows.
Properties and Production[edit | edit source]
The drug is attributed with strong anti-carcinogenic and anti-viral properties. The production process involves the "thermal processing of animal-origin tissues," which is believed to contribute to its medicinal properties. The final product is a dark, oily fluid that has a very strong and specific odor.
ASD is available in two fractions:
- The third fraction, which is denser and is administered topically (on the skin).
- The second fraction, which is less dense and is taken orally.
Uses[edit | edit source]
Although originally developed for animal use, Antiseptic Dorogov's Stimulator has been widely discussed for its potential uses in humans, particularly in dermatology and oncology. However, its use in humans remains controversial and not officially approved by medical authorities in many countries.
