- Armona is located 3.5 miles (5.6 km) west-southwest of Hanford, California, at an elevation of 239 feet (73 m).

- As of the census of 2010, there were 4,156 people residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 72.9% White, 1.2% African American, 1.6% Native American, 1.0% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, and 18.0% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 49.6% of the population.
