Atherleigh Park Hospital is a mental health facility located in Leigh, Greater Manchester, England. It is managed by the North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Atherleigh Park Hospital was officially opened in March 2017, replacing the previous mental health facilities at Leigh Infirmary. The hospital was built with the aim of providing a modern, state-of-the-art facility for mental health care in the region.

Facilities[edit | edit source]

The hospital has a capacity of 48 inpatient beds, divided into two wards: the Humphrey Booth ward for older people, and the Atherleigh ward for adults of working age. The hospital also houses the Garden City community mental health team.

Atherleigh Park Hospital provides a range of mental health services, including inpatient care, outpatient treatment, and community-based services. The hospital specializes in the treatment of a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
