Avsola
Avsola is a biologic medication used in the treatment of various autoimmune diseases. It is a biosimilar to infliximab, which is marketed under the brand name Remicade. Avsola is produced by Amgen, a leading biotechnology company.

Avsola is primarily used to treat conditions such as:
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Crohn's disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Psoriatic arthritis
- Plaque psoriasis
Mechanism of Action[edit | edit source]
Avsola works by inhibiting tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα), a pro-inflammatory cytokine. By blocking TNFα, Avsola helps to reduce inflammation and halt disease progression in autoimmune conditions.
