- Ball is a town located in the U.S. state of Louisiana, within the Rapides Parish. As of the 2010 census, the town had a total population of 4,000. It is part of the Alexandria Metropolitan Statistical Area, providing a unique blend of small-town charm and big-city amenities.

- Ball is located at 31°24′15″N 92°24′39″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 8.0 square miles, all land.

- The town of Ball was incorporated on July 8, 1972. The town was named after a local family that owned a significant portion of the land in the area.
