Bannu
Bannu is a city located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It serves as the capital of the Bannu District and is situated near the border with neighboring Afghanistan. The city is known for its local cloth and wheat product markets.

Bannu has a rich history dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization. It was once part of the ancient Maurya Empire, and later the Gandhara kingdom. The city was known as Banza in ancient times.
