Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (often abbreviated as KP or KPK) is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. It is located in the northwestern region of the country, along the international border with Afghanistan.

History

The history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stretches back to ancient times. It was once the center of Gandhara, a major center of early Buddhism.
