Beximco Pharmaceuticals was founded in 1976 and began its operations by importing products from Bayer, Germany, and Upjohn, USA, and selling them in the local market. In 1980, the company started manufacturing its own products. Over the years, Beximco Pharma has grown to become one of the largest exporters of pharmaceuticals in Bangladesh.
