Sanofi
Sanofi S.A.' is a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Paris, France. It is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies by prescription sales and a member of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index.

Sanofi was founded in 1973 as a subsidiary of Elf Aquitaine, a French oil company. It was known as Sanofi-Aventis between 2004 and 2011, following a merger with Aventis. The company changed its name to Sanofi in May 2011.

Sanofi operates in the prescription pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter healthcare products, vaccines, and animal health. It has a strong presence in oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, immunology, infectious diseases, central nervous system, and vaccines.

Sanofi has been involved in several controversies, including allegations of bribery in foreign markets and lawsuits related to its diabetes drug, Lantus.
