Johnson & Johnson is an American multinational corporation founded in 1886 by Robert Wood Johnson I, James Wood Johnson, and Edward Mead Johnson. The company is headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and it primarily deals in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical, medical devices, and consumer packaged goods.

Johnson & Johnson was established by the Johnson brothers in 1886. The company was initially set up to produce sterile surgical supplies, toiletries, and medical guides. Over the years, the company expanded its product line and entered into the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors.

Johnson & Johnson operates through three main business segments: Consumer Health, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Devices.
