Billy Garrett Jr.
Billy Garrett Jr. (born October 16, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the DePaul Blue Demons.
Early Life and High School Career[edit | edit source]
Billy Garrett Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Morgan Park High School, where he was a standout player on the basketball team. During his high school career, Garrett Jr. led his team to a state championship and earned numerous accolades, including being named to the McDonald's All-American team.
College Career[edit | edit source]
Garrett Jr. played college basketball at DePaul University, where he was a key player for the Blue Demons. Over his four-year career, he became one of the top scorers in the program's history. He was known for his scoring ability, leadership, and clutch performances. Garrett Jr. was named to the All-Big East team multiple times and was recognized for his contributions on and off the court.
Professional Career[edit | edit source]
After graduating from DePaul, Garrett Jr. pursued a professional basketball career. He went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft, but he signed with the New York Knicks for the NBA Summer League. He later joined the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League, where he continued to develop his skills and gain professional experience.
Garrett Jr. has also played internationally, including stints in Europe and Asia. His professional career has been marked by his versatility and ability to adapt to different playing styles and environments.
