Bimatoprost/timolol

Bimatoprost/timolol is a combination medication used in the treatment of glaucoma. It contains two active ingredients: bimatoprost and timolol. The name "timolol" is derived from the chemical name of the drug, which is (S)-1-(tert-Butylamino)-3-[(4-morpholino-1,2,5-thiadiazol-3-yl)oxy]-2-propanol.

Medical uses

Bimatoprost/timolol is used to reduce intraocular pressure in individuals with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is typically used when a single medication has not been effective at reducing the pressure.
