Binzhou Medical University

Binzhou Medical University (BMU) is a medical university located in Binzhou, Shandong Province, China. It was established in 1974 and is recognized by the WHO and the ECFMG.

Binzhou Medical University was founded in 1974 as Binzhou Medical College. In 2005, it was renamed to its current name. The university has grown significantly over the years, now boasting over 10,000 students and a faculty of over 1,000.

Campus[edit | edit source]

The university has two main campuses: the Yantai campus and the Binzhou campus. The Yantai campus is the main campus and is located in the coastal city of Yantai. The Binzhou campus is located in the city of Binzhou.

Academics[edit | edit source]

Binzhou Medical University offers a wide range of medical degrees and programs. The university is divided into several faculties, including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Public Health. The university also offers postgraduate programs in various medical disciplines.

Binzhou Medical University is affiliated with several hospitals in Shandong Province. These hospitals serve as teaching and research sites for the university's students and faculty.

Binzhou Medical University is recognized by the World Health Organization and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. This recognition allows graduates of BMU to practice medicine internationally.
