- Blackwood is a census-designated place (CDP) located within Gloucester Township, in Camden County, New Jersey, in the United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 4,545. It is located 10 miles away from the city of Camden and about 17 miles from Philadelphia.

- Blackwood was first settled in the late 17th century by the English and Welsh Quakers. The town was named after the Blackwood family, who were early settlers in the area. The town grew rapidly during the 19th century due to the industrial revolution and the construction of the Black Horse Pike, which connected Blackwood to Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
