Blinky Palermo (born Peter Schwarze, 2 June 1943 – 18 February 1977) was a German abstract painter known for his minimalist and conceptual art. He was a significant figure in post-war European art and is often associated with the Düsseldorf School of painting.

Blinky Palermo was born in Leipzig, Germany. He was adopted by the Palermo family and took their name. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under the tutelage of Joseph Beuys, a prominent figure in the art world known for his influence on contemporary art.

Palermo's work is characterized by its simplicity and use of geometric forms. He often used a limited color palette and focused on the relationship between space and form. His early works were influenced by Constructivism and the Bauhaus movement.
