Blue Origin
Blue Origin is an American aerospace manufacturer and sub-orbital spaceflight services company headquartered in Kent, Washington. Founded in 2000 by Jeff Bezos, the company is focused on developing technologies to enable private human access to space with the goal of lowering costs and increasing reliability.

Blue Origin was founded by Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com, in 2000. The company initially operated in secret, but in recent years it has become more public about its goals and achievements. Blue Origin's motto is "Gradatim Ferociter," which means "Step by Step, Ferociously."

New Shepard[edit | edit source]
New Shepard is Blue Origin's suborbital rocket designed for space tourism. It is a reusable launch vehicle that takes off and lands vertically. The rocket is named after Alan Shepard, the first American astronaut in space. New Shepard has successfully completed multiple test flights and is intended to carry passengers on short trips to the edge of space.
New Glenn[edit | edit source]
New Glenn is an orbital launch vehicle currently under development by Blue Origin. Named after John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth, New Glenn is designed to be a heavy-lift rocket capable of carrying payloads to geostationary transfer orbit and beyond. The rocket will feature a reusable first stage, similar to New Shepard.
BE-4 Engine[edit | edit source]
The BE-4 is a liquid rocket engine developed by Blue Origin. It uses liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquid oxygen (LOX) as propellants. The BE-4 engine is intended to power the first stage of the New Glenn rocket and has also been selected to power the United Launch Alliance's Vulcan Centaur rocket.

Blue Origin's long-term vision is to enable millions of people to live and work in space. The company aims to build a future where people can live and work in space to benefit Earth. Blue Origin is working on technologies that will allow for the sustainable use of space resources and the development of space infrastructure.
