Bohumil Kubišta (1884–1918) was a Czech painter and art theorist associated with the early 20th-century art movement known as Czech Cubism. He was born on 21 September 1884 in Vlčkovice, Bohemia and passed away on 27 November 1918 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

Kubišta studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he was influenced by the works of Cézanne and Van Gogh. His early paintings show the influence of Post-Impressionism and Fauvism.

Kubišta is best known for his contributions to Czech Cubism, a style that emphasized geometric forms and a sense of dynamism. His works often feature bold colors and abstract shapes, reflecting his interest in the intersection of art and spirituality.
