Bowl (vessel)

A bowl is a round dish or container typically used to hold liquids, such as soup or cereal, or other types of food. Bowls are also used for cooking and serving. They are one of the most ancient forms of tableware, with examples found in ancient China, Egypt, Greece and Rome.
