Bridelia micrantha
Bridelia micrantha is a species of flowering plant in the family Phyllanthaceae. It is commonly known as the Mitzeeri or Coastal Golden-leaf. This plant is native to various regions in Africa, including South Africa, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe.

Bridelia micrantha is a medium to large-sized deciduous tree that can grow up to 20 meters in height. The bark is greyish-brown and often has a rough texture. The leaves are simple, alternate, and have an ovate to elliptic shape with a glossy green appearance. The flowers are small, yellowish-green, and are borne in clusters. The fruit is a small, round, black drupe that is edible and attracts various bird species.

This species thrives in a variety of habitats, including riverine forests, coastal forests, and woodlands. It is often found in areas with well-drained soils and can tolerate a range of climatic conditions.
