Brigham And Women's Faulkner Hospital is a community hospital located in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School and is managed by Brigham and Women's Hospital, which is part of the Partners HealthCare system.

Brigham And Women's Faulkner Hospital was founded in 1900 by Dr. George Faulkner and his wife, Abby, as the Faulkner Hospital. The hospital was named in honor of Abby's father, John Faulkner. In 2012, the hospital became a part of the Brigham and Women's Health Care system and was renamed Brigham And Women's Faulkner Hospital.

Brigham And Women's Faulkner Hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and psychiatric care, as well as complete emergency, ambulatory, and diagnostic services. Its largest inpatient services are internal medicine, cardiology, psychiatry, pulmonary, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and general/GI surgery.

Brigham And Women's Faulkner Hospital is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School and is part of the Partners HealthCare system, which was founded by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Facilities[edit | edit source]

The hospital has 162 licensed beds and treats over 15,000 inpatients annually. The hospital also has an emergency department that treats over 30,000 patients each year. The hospital's facilities include operating rooms, a radiology department, a physical therapy department, and a psychiatry department.
