- Buhl, ID is a city located in the southern region of the U.S. state of Idaho. It is part of Twin Falls County and is known for its rich agricultural history and scenic beauty. The city is often referred to as the "Trout Capital of the World" due to its numerous trout hatcheries.

- Buhl was founded on April 17, 1906. It was named after Frank H. Buhl of Sharon, Pennsylvania, a major investor in a Carey Act project known as the Twin Falls South Side project, which introduced irrigation to the Magic Valley in the early 20th Century.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Buhl is located at 42°36′1″N 114°45′30″W. The city has a total area of 1.93 square miles, all of it land. It is situated on the old Oregon Trail and the route of the California Zephyr, and is home to the Clear Springs Foods' trout hatchery, the world's largest fresh water trout farm.
