CBS/Fox Video
CBS/Fox Video was a home video company that was a joint venture between CBS and 20th Century Fox. It was established in 1982 and became one of the leading home video distributors in the 1980s and early 1990s.

CBS/Fox Video was formed in 1982 as a merger between CBS Video Enterprises, the home video division of CBS, and 20th Century-Fox Video, the home video division of 20th Century Fox. The company was created to distribute films and television programs on VHS and Betamax formats.

In its early years, CBS/Fox Video released a wide variety of content, including films from the 20th Century Fox library, television shows from the CBS network, and special interest videos. The company quickly became known for its high-quality releases and innovative marketing strategies.

Throughout the 1980s, CBS/Fox Video expanded its catalog to include a diverse range of genres, from classic films to contemporary hits. The company also ventured into the burgeoning market for LaserDiscs, offering high-quality video and audio for home theater enthusiasts.
