CONRAD
CONRAD is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving reproductive health and developing new contraceptive methods. It was established in 1986 and operates under the Eastern Virginia Medical School. The organization focuses on research and development of innovative technologies to prevent HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), as well as to enhance contraceptive options for women and men.

CONRAD was founded in 1986 by Dr. Elton Kessel and Dr. Henry Gabelnick. The organization was created to address the need for new and improved contraceptive methods and to advance reproductive health research. Over the years, CONRAD has collaborated with various international organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
