Canadian Family Physician
Canadian Family Physician (CFP), a peer-reviewed medical journal, is the official publication of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). It provides a platform for knowledge exchange and continuous professional development for family physicians in Canada.

The journal was first published in 1955, under the name General Practitioner. It was later renamed to Canadian Family Physician in 1967. The journal is published monthly and is available in both English and French.

The Canadian Family Physician publishes original research, clinical reviews, commentaries, and case reports. It also features regular columns on topics such as clinical practice, health policy, medical education, and public health. The journal's content is aimed at providing family physicians with clinically relevant information that can be applied directly to patient care.

The Canadian Family Physician is widely read by family physicians across Canada. It has an impact factor of 1.908 (2019), ranking it 16th out of 19 in the category of primary health care according to the Journal Citation Reports.
