Carmen Carrera (born April 13, 1985) is an American model, actress, and reality television personality. She is best known for appearing on the third season of the Logo TV reality series RuPaul's Drag Race and its spin-off series RuPaul's Drag U.

Carmen Carrera was born Christopher Roman in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. She grew up in a Puerto Rican-Peruvian family and has been open about her experiences and challenges growing up.

RuPaul's Drag Race[edit | edit source]
Carrera first gained national attention in 2011 as a contestant on the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Although she was eliminated in episode 10, her popularity soared, and she became a fan favorite. She later returned for the spin-off series RuPaul's Drag U.
