Ceará
Ceará is a state located in the northeastern region of Brazil. It is the 8th largest Brazilian State by population and the 17th by area. It is also one of the main tourist destinations in Brazil. The state capital is Fortaleza, the country's fourth most populous city.

Ceará has a varied environment, with mangroves, caatinga, savannas, rainforests, and coastal zones. It is home to the Jaguaribara River, the state's largest river, and the Aracoiaba Dam, one of the most important in the region.

Ceará was first colonized by the Portuguese in the 17th century, and it became a state in 1889. The state's history is marked by battles and revolts against colonial rule, slavery, and political corruption.

Ceará has one of the fastest-growing economies in Brazil, thanks to its thriving tourism, agriculture, and industry sectors. The state is a major producer of cashew nuts, cotton, and lobster.
