  3. **Adding Coconut Milk**: Thick and thin coconut milk is added to the mixture. The thin coconut milk is added first and cooked until the mixture thickens, followed by the addition of thick coconut milk.
  4. **Flavoring**: Cardamom powder is added for flavor.
  5. **Tempering**: Ghee is heated in a pan, and cashew nuts and raisins are fried until golden brown. This mixture is then added to the payasam.
