- Charleroi is a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,120 at the 2010 census. It is located along the Monongahela River in the Mon Valley, 21 miles south of Pittsburgh.

- Charleroi was settled in 1890 and incorporated in 1891. The city was named after Charleroi, Belgium, as many of the city's residents have Belgian roots.

- Charleroi is located at 40°8′15″N 79°53′56″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.8 square miles, all of it land.
