Charles Sawyers
Charles L. Sawyers is an American oncologist known for his significant contributions to the field of cancer research. He currently serves as the Chair of the Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Sawyers received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He later pursued a fellowship in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Sawyers' research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer and developing targeted therapies. He has made groundbreaking discoveries in the field of prostate cancer and has been instrumental in the development of several cancer drugs.
