Chenega
Chenega is a village located in the Chugach Census Area, in the state of Alaska, United States. It is situated on Evans Island in Prince William Sound. The village is part of the Chugach Alaska Corporation and is home to the Chenega Corporation, which is involved in various business ventures.

The original village of Chenega was established by the Alutiiq people, who have inhabited the region for thousands of years. The village was devastated by the 1964 Alaska earthquake and subsequent tsunami, which led to the relocation of the community. The new village, known as Chenega Bay, was established in 1984.

Chenega is located on the southern coast of Evans Island, which is part of the Chugach National Forest. The village is surrounded by the waters of Prince William Sound, known for its scenic beauty and rich marine life.
