Chesterfield Township is a civil township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township had a population of 45,774. The township is part of the Metro Detroit area and is known for its proximity to Anchor Bay on Lake St. Clair.

Chesterfield Township was established in 1842. The area was originally inhabited by the Ojibwa people before European settlers arrived. The township has grown significantly over the years, particularly in the latter half of the 20th century, due to suburban expansion from the Detroit metropolitan area.

The township is bordered by New Baltimore to the northeast, Macomb Township to the west, and Harrison Township to the south.

The racial makeup of the township was predominantly White, with smaller percentages of African American, Asian, and other races.
