Chickie's & Pete's was founded in 1977 by Peter "Pete" Ciarrocchi Sr. and his wife Henrietta "Chickie" Ciarrocchi. The original location was a small neighborhood taproom in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. Over the years, the business expanded, opening multiple locations throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond.
