Chuck Osborne (American football)
Chuck Osborne is a former American football player who played as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on June 6, 1975, in San Francisco, California. Osborne attended college at the University of California, Berkeley where he played for the California Golden Bears football team.
After a successful college career, Osborne was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1998 NFL Draft. He spent several seasons with the 49ers as a backup quarterback, learning from veteran players like Steve Young and Jeff Garcia. Osborne's time with the 49ers was marked by his strong work ethic and dedication to improving his skills.
In 2002, Osborne was traded to the New York Jets where he had the opportunity to compete for a starting role.
