Co-amilozide

Composition

Amiloride works by blocking sodium reabsorption in the distal nephron, leading to increased sodium and water excretion. Hydrochlorothiazide inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in the early distal tubule, also leading to increased excretion of water and sodium.
