Cona
Cona - a mannose binding lectin originally isolated from jack bean, canavalia ensiformis. Concanavalin a is a potent lymphocyte mitogen and a stimulator of matrix metalloproteinases, thereby exhibiting immunostimulatory effects. It is used in the characterization and purification of glycoproteins.
