Cooking Channel


Cooking Channel is a cable television network owned by Discovery, Inc.. The channel is a spin-off of Food Network, broadcasting programming related to food and cooking.

The Cooking Channel was launched on May 31, 2010, replacing Fine Living Network (FLN). The original plan for the channel was to be a more "down-to-earth" version of Food Network, with more instructional shows.

Programming[edit | edit source]

Cooking Channel's programming is dedicated to the topic of food and cooking. It features both original shows and reruns of older broadcasts from its sister network, Food Network. Some of the original programs include Everyday Italian, Good Eats, and Iron Chef.

Availability[edit | edit source]

As of February 2015, Cooking Channel is available to approximately 61,951,000 pay television households (53.3% of households with television) in the United States.
