- Crockett is a small town located in Contra Costa County, in the state of California, United States. The town is situated on the south bank of the Carquinez Strait in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is known for its rich history and unique character.

- Crockett was first established in the late 19th century by Thomas Edwards Sr. who founded the town's first sugar refinery, the California and Hawaiian Sugar Company (C&H). The town was named after Joseph B. Crockett, a judge on the California Supreme Court.

- Crockett is located in the western part of Contra Costa County, along the Carquinez Strait. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and has a total area of 1.1 square miles, all of it land.
