DITPA

3,5-Diiodothyropropionic acid (DITPA) is a synthetic analog of the thyroid hormone triiodothyronine (T3). It has been studied for its potential therapeutic effects in various cardiovascular conditions, particularly heart failure. DITPA is of interest due to its ability to mimic some of the beneficial effects of thyroid hormones on the heart without the full spectrum of thyroid hormone activity, which can lead to unwanted side effects.
