Dashiell Raymond Mihok (born May 24, 1974) is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Bunchy Donovan in the Showtime drama series Ray Donovan. Mihok has also appeared in numerous films and television series throughout his career.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Mihok was born in Greenwich Village, New York City, to parents who were both actors. He grew up in a creative environment, surrounded by the arts. Mihok attended the Bronx High School of Science and later transferred to the Professional Children's School in Manhattan, where he pursued his passion for acting.

Mihok's acting career began in the early 1990s with guest appearances on television shows such as NYPD Blue and Law & Order. He made his film debut in the 1994 movie Black is White. Mihok gained wider recognition for his role in the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann, where he played the character Benvolio.

In 2013, Mihok began starring as Bunchy Donovan in the Showtime series Ray Donovan, a role that earned him critical acclaim. His portrayal of Bunchy, a man struggling with the trauma of childhood abuse, showcased his range and depth as an actor.

Mihok is married to actress Valeria Mason, and the couple has two children. He is also an advocate for Tourette syndrome awareness, having been diagnosed with the condition himself. Mihok has spoken publicly about his experiences with Tourette syndrome and works to raise awareness and support for others affected by the disorder.
