Reagan Youth[edit | edit source]
In 1980, Rubinstein and Bakija formed Reagan Youth, a band that combined punk rock with political activism. The band's name was a satirical reference to the Hitler Youth, and their lyrics often criticized the Ronald Reagan administration and other political issues of the time.
