Dawn Buckingham is an American politician and ophthalmologist who currently serves as the Texas Land Commissioner. She assumed office on January 10, 2023, succeeding George P. Bush. Prior to this role, Buckingham was a member of the Texas Senate, representing the 24th district from January 10, 2017, to January 10, 2023.
