Dorian Gregory
Dorian Gregory (born January 26, 1971) is an American actor and television host. He is best known for his role as Darryl Morris on the television series Charmed and as the fourth and final permanent host of the long-running syndicated music television show Soul Train.

Dorian Gregory was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He later moved to Los Angeles, California, where he began his career in the entertainment industry. Gregory has a sister named Mercedes, who is also involved in the entertainment industry.

Acting[edit | edit source]
Gregory's acting career began in the early 1990s with guest appearances on various television shows. He gained significant recognition for his role as Darryl Morris on the popular television series Charmed, which aired from 1998 to 2006. His character was a police officer who often assisted the Halliwell sisters in their fight against evil forces.
In addition to Charmed, Gregory has appeared in numerous other television series, including Baywatch, Sister, Sister, Moesha, and The Steve Harvey Show. He has also had roles in films such as Deliver Us from Eva and Getting Played.

In 2003, Gregory became the host of the iconic music television show Soul Train, succeeding Shemar Moore. He hosted the show until its final episode in 2006. Gregory's tenure on Soul Train was marked by his charismatic presence and ability to connect with both the audience and the musical guests.

Dorian Gregory is actively involved in various charitable organizations. He is a spokesperson for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and has worked to raise awareness about diabetes and its impact on individuals and families. Gregory himself has been living with diabetes since childhood.
