ESPN America was a European sports network that focused on broadcasting North American sports. It was part of the ESPN family of networks and was available in various countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

ESPN America was originally launched as NASN (North American Sports Network) in December 2002. The network was founded by Setanta Sports and was primarily focused on delivering North American sports content to European audiences. In 2006, ESPN acquired NASN, and in February 2009, the network was rebranded as ESPN America.

In 2013, ESPN announced that it would be closing ESPN America as part of a strategic shift in its international operations. The network officially ceased broadcasting on August 1, 2013. The closure was part of ESPN's decision to focus on its core markets and digital platforms.

Although ESPN America is no longer operational, its impact on the availability and popularity of North American sports in Europe remains significant. The network helped to cultivate a dedicated fan base for American sports leagues outside of the United States.
