Eddy County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,385. The county seat is New Rockford. Eddy County was created on March 9, 1883, from the northern half of Foster County. The name was suggested by Governor Nehemiah G. Ordway.
