Edward Omane Boamah is a Ghanaian politician and medical doctor. He served as the Minister for Communications in Ghana from 2013 to 2017 under the administration of John Dramani Mahama. He is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Edward Omane Boamah was born in Ghana. He pursued his secondary education at Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School (PRESEC) in Accra. He later attended the University of Ghana, where he obtained his medical degree. He also holds a master's degree in Public Health from the same university.

Edward Omane Boamah began his political career as a member of the National Democratic Congress. He has held various positions within the party and the government.

Before becoming the Minister for Communications, Boamah served as the Deputy Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation.
