- Edwardsville is a city in Wyandotte County, Kansas, United States. It is part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The city is named after John H. Edwards, who was the principal stockholder of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company that passed through the area.

- Edwardsville is located at 39°4′25″N 94°49′15″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.36 square miles, of which, 9.13 square miles is land and 0.23 square miles is water.

- As of the census of 2010, there were 4,340 people, 1,632 households, and 1,154 families residing in the city. The population density was 475.2 inhabitants per square mile.
