Elisabeth Ludovika of Bavaria (13 November 1801 – 14 December 1873) was a Bavarian princess who became the Queen consort of Saxony through her marriage to Frederick Augustus II of Saxony. She was born in Munich, Bavaria, to King Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria and Queen Caroline of Baden.
Elisabeth Ludovika married Frederick Augustus II of Saxony in 1822, solidifying the ties between the Bavarian and Saxon royal families. The couple had no children.
Throughout her life, Elisabeth Ludovika was known for her charitable work and patronage of the arts. She supported various cultural initiatives in Saxony and Bavaria, promoting education and the preservation of historical heritage.
After the death of her husband in 1854, Elisabeth Ludovika lived in seclusion in Dresden, where she passed away in 1873.
