Elizabeth Berg (born December 2, 1948) is an American novelist known for her works of literary fiction. She has written numerous novels, many of which have become bestsellers and have been translated into several languages.

Elizabeth Berg was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She developed a passion for writing at a young age and pursued her interest in literature throughout her education. Berg attended college at the University of Minnesota, where she studied English literature.
