Elkins Park, Pennsylvania
Elkins Park is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located approximately 10 miles north of Center City, Philadelphia.

Elkins Park was named after William Elkins, a prominent businessman and philanthropist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The area was developed as a suburban community for wealthy Philadelphians seeking to escape the city's industrial environment.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Elkins Park is situated in the southeastern part of Montgomery County and is bordered by the city of Philadelphia to the south. The community is characterized by its tree-lined streets and historic homes.
Education[edit | edit source]
Elkins Park is served by the Cheltenham Township School District, which includes Elkins Park School, Cedarbrook Middle School, and Cheltenham High School. The area is also home to several private schools and religious institutions.

Elkins Park is accessible via the Elkins Park SEPTA station, which provides regional rail service to Philadelphia and other destinations. Major roads such as Route 611 and Route 73 also serve the area.
