Evaporimetry

From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

Evaporimetry is the study of the measurement of the rate of evaporation of a liquid. This can be used to measure the amount of water loss in plants, soil moisture content, and the amount of water vapor in the air. Evaporimetry can also be used in industrial applications such as measuring the moisture content of food products, and for monitoring the performance of cooling towers and evaporative condensers.
